Last Minute Filming

 Today I filmed some extra stuff for the film and some things I just forgot to film. I forgot to film the part where Avery's mother, father, and brother run to the scream that they heard. So, I filmed that. Also, I forgot to film the bit where Avery's mom calls 911. So I filmed that with a close up of her calling. Previously when I was editing I noticed my film was running short. To fix this, I filmed a part where Avery's dad shakes hands with the detective. I think I will end the film with that clip. Another way to fix this is I filmed a part where Avery walks and sits down at her desk and starts writing. Hopefully this will make my film the right size. The filming process was fairly easy. I had to make sure the set was the same. To do this I cleaned the room we filmed in. It was, however, a struggle to get my actors together. Whenever Sebastian wasn't busy Izzy was. And vice versa. I had to create a group chat so they they could situate when they were both not busy. T...

Editing Day 1 Blog

 Today is the first day of editing my group and I's commercial. I believe we only need to put the clips together. Obviously the commercial needs some transitions as well. iMovie will be used to edit for the most part. A consensus that was made for one part of the commercial was to have a rewind. Unfortunately iMovie doesn't have that feature. I suggested that we take the clip, import it into the app Snapchat and rewind it there. The school wifi is not really working so my group and I are having difficulties accessing everything. My groupmate Monzur is trying to get the footage after I asked to see. I suggested that he edits because he has prior experience. I also said I would be able to help in editing because I know how to use iMovie as well. However, I don't exactly know how to import specific music. For the commercial I would need to put in the song that is being listened to. I may have to use or find a different editing software. Title Design Websites

  I am now researching titles to understand title designs and why they are important. I found this website named artofthetitle.com to see examples of title/opening scenes. It shows the names of the different designers and studios that come up with the titles. I have viewed many of the different titles. Every title is unique. This website allows me to watch either just the titles of films or the summary. I've noticed a lot of editing, for example animation and freeze frames, as well as slow-mos/montages. Some films just show the names while others input the names as the storyline begins. I appreciate the simplicity of this website and how it shows the date in which the movie or show was made. This website is nicely organized and has many film title scenes I can take inspiration from. The next website I found, from my friend, is called watchthetitles.com.
