My Script

 Scene 1

Fade in transition.

Dark lighting. (tilt from ceiling to high angle)

Avery is writing in her diary (Close up).

The time is shown for a second on the screen.

Voiceover of what she is writing: "Dear Diary, Today was weird, I've had this gut feeling all day that something bad is going to happen. I hope it's just in my head..."

Over the shoulder (low angle)  shot of the killer walking with a knife (sound of feet walking) behind Avery. (dressed in dark clothing with a hood to hide head)

A suspenseful score is played with the voiceover.

Avery looks back to see the killer her as soon as she says "head". (shocked face)

The killer continues to stab Avery. Another transition fade.

Scene 2

The time is shown again representing an hour has passed.

An establishing shot of Blair (Avery's sister) walking into frame with headphones playing an upbeat song, knocking then opening the door, while taking out headphones and the music stops, to Avery's room when there's no response, to find her dead sister.

Suspenseful score in the background.

Blair screams, everyone in the house rallys up to see what happens, they all look inside and act surprised.

Avery's mom, Eve, calls 911 (medium shot).

The sound of the phone call is echoed and the title scene dissolves in.

Scene 3

Still on the title scene, a sound of a knock takes place.

Jump cut to a shot of the door and Miles (Avery's dad) opens the door.

Detective Yeager is spotted and introduces himself, "Hi I am detective Yeager and I've been assigned your daughter's murder case.

Quick shot of the detective and investigators taking data from the crime scene. Flash photography sound.

Another fade to all of the suspects lined up with Detective Yeager walking past them, a close up of their faces along with their title names.

As the close ups take place Detective Yeager says, "As I was investigating the crime scene we found a foot print to a converse however this isn’t any normal converse it’s one of the rare releases, I believe my team will be able to track down where in the area it was purchased. This will be my first attempt at finding the killer "

Then he proceeds to say, "Don’t worry this case will be solved" Shot reverse shot of Adam (Avery's brother) looking at the Detective, and the detective walking back and forth (Pan).

Ending shot (long shot) of the detective holding up the bag that the murder weapon is in and he says "But before I go, anyone want to tell me what they know what they know"

Then individual shots of everyone’s nervous faces

Then a jump cut to a black screen and a loud "DUN" sound.
