Starting to Film
The day I finished my storyboard I wanted to film, at least some shots. I asked my sister to help my film. I also asked my mom to help me film as well. They both agreed. I was able to film some shots myself with the help of my phone tripod. I filmed the shot of me getting ready. I also filmed the shot of me grabbing car keys. My sister filmed my tracking shots. My sister also filmed me in my car scene. The car scene was difficult to hold the camera still but I think the minor shakiness doesn't ruin it, it makes it have a more free feeling. I looked over the clips and I realized I did some vertically instead of horizontally so I will have to re-do them. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do all of the scenes. I have to do the scenes with my other character and at a different setting. I need to remember to wear the same costume on my next filming day. It shouldn't take long to film. However, it is difficult time-wise because it's a necessity to film at night. This problem limits my filming time to only be on either friday or saturday because I don't want to be out late on school nights. I am nervous about my other actors availability. I need all of my helpers this weekend, December 4-5, to finish filming but they told me they might be busy. Also I might not be able to go to the beach so I might go to a park instead. A park could be better cause there's more to film, like playing on the playground and I can still incorporate my sparklers.
